We’ve started a text-messaging program that will let us INSTANTLY touch base with you guys! All you need to do is click where it says “Click Here” and signing up is EASY! We just need your full name, phone number, and carrier (Sprint, Verizon, etc…).

We’ll use this to let you guys know important information from time to time! The messages will come from EDLstaff@symt.us.

Hume Lake update

23 Feb

We have 136 spots for students reserved for this Summer, and we filled 120 of them yesterday. We also had 16 students sign onto the waiting list (these are students who didn’t have the money for the deposit). Pretty interesting that we had exactly 136 people come after we asked for exactly that many spots. Go us!

As of now you can still snag one of those 16 open spots by signing up with a deposit. We will have everything you need to sign up on Sundays and Wednesdays during our gatherings, as well as during office hours at Calvary (8-5 Monday thru Thursday)

Feel free to jump over to Hume Lake’s website for more details! We’ll be sending each of you who signed up more information very soon.

new teachings

2 Feb

This Sunday we are jumping into the Book of Hebrews head first. We’ll spend quite a few weeks digging into this book. Hebrews is a book rich in theology and context.

We’re spending three Wednesdays talking about dating, friendships, and sexuality. We have chosen topics that we hope will move our students towards wholeness and contentment, equip them to navigate through the inevitable temptations of life, and to come out on the other side healthier and happier. We truly believe that the Author of Life knows how all of this works best, and that we find the greatest joy in following his lead.
