Hey Parents!

I just wanted to let you know that I am leaving Sunday night (June 28th) for Zambia for 2 weeks!!! Cory and I are going with our family and will be doing a little bit of missions and a lot of vacation.  We are out of our minds excited!  I am FULLY confident that Blake and Randy will keep everything running smoothly while I’m gone!  I will miss you and the students a ton   Pray for us as we minister to students at Northrise University in Zambia and that I don’t die trying to pet a hippo on safari!

See you on July 15th!

Summer + hot weather = bathing suits!  This is not much of an issue for the guys in our group, but summer bathing suits for many girls is often considered a crisis situation!

At Calvary we have a one piece swimsuit/no speedo policy.  We seek to keep modesty a priority as we try to “spur one another on towards love and good deeds”.    I want you parents to know that I appreciate all of your efforts in helping us uphold this guideline in our group!  I can’t imagine the hours spent shopping and shopping for the right one piece that doesn’t cut to high, scoop too low, or squeeze in all of the wrong places.

A friend showed me this website the other day and I wanted to give you a heads up.  It is full of cute/modest one piece bathing suits that will help your daughter be both fashionable and classy all at the same time.  Modesty doesn’t mean ugly!  So enjoy…hope it helps you in your pursuit of summer bathing suits!

This Sunday we will be celebrating the last 4 years our seniors have spent in the high school group at Calvary.  And what is a party without donuts??? We need about 15 dozen donuts to properly celebrate and we would LOVE if you would bring a dozen or two   Anyone up for it?
